This project involves creation of a “Unified Theme” for the original Wisconsin Dells commercial district.  The main focus is the corridor from Interstate 90/94 exit 87, through the intersection of STH 12/16, over the bridge and along Broadway to the intersection of STHs 23 and 13.  The corridor ranges between three broad characters – from highway commercial to traditional downtown to residential.  The Unified Theme reconciles these various characters with different, but complementary interactive elements, similar color schemes and landscaping.  The process also included the creation of a business improvement district and public involvement to build support for the project. 

Vierbicher Associates, Inc. is providing planning, landscape architecture and engineering services for the project.  Specific activities include design workshops, public information meetings, consensus building activities, design of improvements, plans and specifications, and construction services.
