This project is a senior housing complex funded by a bequest from a Baraboo area resident. The project began with a search for approximate sites. A nine-acre site was selected within the City of Baraboo that matched well with the benefactor’s interest in nature.

Vierbicher Associates, Inc. provided a site assessment to inventory features of the site to be saved or enhanced. Following concept design, the property was rezoned. The building includes underground parking, vistas of the Baraboo bluffs, spacious apartments and community gathering space. The site features walking trails, bike path, a prairie area, and butterfly gardens.

Vierbicher Associates provided architectural, engineering, and landscape architecture as well as facilitating the rezoning and creating marketing and public relation materials.
