| DeForest’s
Business Park is 115 acres in size and is located
on USH 51 adjacent to existing industrial uses.
The Village has targeted high technology and
manufacturing firms. To date, six businesses -
creating over 300 jobs, have located in the park.
Some of these include Pleasant Company, Winter
Silks, Burton Rubber, Casperson Properties,
Firestone, and Cartonplast.
The Village of
DeForest and the DeForest Redevelopment Authority
have aggressively used public financial assistance
programs and creative approaches to stimulate
development of the park. This includes using Tax
Incremental Financing, Infrastructure Grants and
Lease Revenue Bonds.

Associates, Inc. has provided the planning,
community development, environmental, civil
engineering, and landscape architecture services
for the DeForest Business Park since its start in
1994.
