Vierbicher Associates has been working with the City of New Richmond to complete a Smart Growth compliant comprehensive plan.

The planning process entails a multi-step, interactive approach beginning with an Existing Conditions Report. This was prepared to give stakeholders the opportunity to understand the dynamics of the community today in order to make decisions regarding its future.

Public participation has been given a high degree of importance in the planning process, and in response, the City sponsored a two-day Public Visioning Forum. The results of the Forum assisted in the development of goals and objectives, along with the development of key aspects of each plan element.
