Dutch Hollow Lake Association

The down stream face of Dutch Hollow
Lake Dam has two large areas of seepage. Previous
engineers for the Dutch Hollow Lake Association had
recommended that a filter drain be constructed along
those two areas to reduce the risk of a piping failure.
Vierbicher Associates, Inc. assisted the association by
estimating construction costs for a graded soil filter,
and by preparing construction plans, specifications and
bidding documents for this dam rehabilitation project.
Following the dam face repairs
Vierbicher Associates, Inc. also completed a dam failure
analyses, an emergency action plan and an operations,
maintenance and inspection plan for the
