8/2/10 - Promotions at Vierbicher

REEDSBURG, WI – Vierbicher is pleased to announce that Craig Mathews, PE, and Todd Halvensleben, PE, have been designated Group Leaders in the Reedsburg Engineering and Transportation Department..

Kurt Muchow, Reedsburg Office Manager and Chairman of the Board of Directors, said the promotions were “part of our continued effort to enhance efficiency and create career growth opportunities for our staff” as he offered his congratulations to Craig and Todd.

Mathews began his career at Vierbicher in 1991 as a summer intern and was promoted to Project Manager in 1996. During his tenure he has participated in all aspect of municipal engineering and development projects including project management, design, construction observation, materials testing, and surveying. He also completed the American Council of Engineering Companies - Engineering Future Leaders Program in 2008. He will continue to draw on that experience as he fulfills his group leader role for the Reedsburg Engineering Group. Mathews currently serves as the Village Engineer for the Village of DeForest and he is also working on the Village of Gays Mills Flood Relocation Project.

Halvensleben started working at Vierbicher as a Project Engineer in 1998. His strong transportation engineering background was cultivated while working as a Civil Engineering Technician for the State of Illinois-Department of Transportation and as a Project Engineer for a transportation engineering firm in Milwaukee. Halvensleben leads the Transportation Group for Vierbicher’s Reedsburg office. He has participated in notable projects such as the Wisconsin Dells RiverWalk and the Madison Safety & Weight Enforcement Facility.
