Project Leader – Madison Office

Vierbicher has an opening for a Project Leader with an interest in site development or municipal infrastructure design experience. This position is available at our Madison office.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead and manage projects
  • Client engagement and relationship management
  • Due diligence and site investigation
  • Site and infrastructure design including: street plans (plan & profile, cross sections, etc.), grading and erosion control plans, storm water management facilities, sanitary sewer systems, water distribution systems and storm sewer systems
  • Quantity take-offs and cost estimates
  • Preparation of specifications
  • Preparation of permit applications
  • Construction administration
  • Assist in development of plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • PE (Professional Engineer) in the State of Wisconsin
  • 10 or more years of civil engineering experience is preferred
  • Project Management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other civil engineering design tools
  • Ability to work well independently and on a team
