REEDSBURG, WI – Neil Pfaff, PE, PH, CST has received his Professional Engineer (PE) license. Pfaff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville as well as a Bachelor of Science in Water Resources with minors in Soil Science and Geographic information Systems and Spatial Analysis from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Neil is also a Licensed Professional Hydrologist (PH).
He has worked for Vierbicher since 2009. Pfaff has been involved with notable projects such as the Reedsburg Lakeside Food Flood Levee, Lemonwier River Bank Stabilization Project, Gays Mills Flood Mitigation Project and multiple commercial and industrial site development projects.
MADISON, WI – Claudia Guy, PE, has received her Professional Engineer (PE) license. She is a graduate of University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Claudia has background in environmental compliance, stormwater pollution prevention and management, erosion and sediment control planning and site development.
She has worked for Vierbicher since December, 2014. Prior to moving to Wisconsin, Claudia worked as a civil engineer for URS in Herndon, Virginia from 2008-2014.
In order to qualify for the PE license, they had to complete many steps. The first was to pass the Fundamental of Engineering Examination (FE), formerly known as the EIT. In addition, they needed to have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and four years of experience working in the field. Finally, they needed to pass the Principles and Practice of Engineering Examination (PE).
