Encompass Health

Encompass Health, a leading provider of inpatient rehabilitation and behavioral health services, has begun construction on a new rehabilitation hospital in Fitchburg, Wisconsin. The new hospital will provide inpatient rehabilitation services for patients with a variety of conditions, including stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, and complex orthopedic conditions.

The new rehabilitation hospital is approximately 60,000 square feet and features 56 private patient rooms, with the potential to go to 80. The facility provides a therapy gym, a hydrotherapy pool, and a dining room. The hospital will also have a dedicated unit for patients with brain injuries.

Construction was completed in the fall of 2023.
