The Dylin is a three-story boutique aparthotel in Madison, WI. The hotel offers 55 residential-style units with kitchens and private laundry. Located between East Dayton Street and East Mifflin Street, the project integrated portions of the historic Reynolds Warehouse facade and retained the Reynolds Family Home. In addition, the redevelopment also provided a new house, with both homes available for rent as a whole unit or floor.
Through collaboration with the design team, the site was able to integrate the character of the existing buildings and create a site that meets the vision of the developer. The stormwater design used a green roof system to meet redevelopment standards and allow the site to retain the Reynolds Family house.
Vierbicher was involved throughout the project and provided a range of services that included topographic and boundary survey, preparation of a certified survey map, design development plans, permits, construction documents, construction administration services, and stormwater certifications.
