Project Description

The Community of Bishops Bay is an approximately 750-acre planned neighborhood in the City of Middleton and Town of Westport, northwest of the City of Madison. It is anticipated that Bishops Bay will contain 2,950 housing units with a population of over 6,000 residents when fully built out over the next 20 years.

All development within The Community of Bishops Bay is required to meet the City of Middleton and Town of Westport stormwater management ordinances as well as 100% volume control for the 1 and 5 year average annual rainfall (required by CARPC). To date, the development has met or exceeded all stormwater requirements.

Vierbicher has been the engineer of record for Bishops Bay since inception completing all Hydrologic and Hydraulic models, development of sediment loading models, permitting assistance, construction plan and specification preparation, opinion of probable cost preparation, bidding, construction observation and construction administration services.
