EXCEPTIONAL RESULTS SINCE 1976
Vierbicher was founded in 1976 by James Vierbicher, PE in Reedsburg, Wisconsin. Through strategic planning, we have developed multiple office locations, adding a Madison location in 1987, followed by Prairie du Chien in 1999, Milwaukee in 2016, and Green Bay in 2023. Today, Vierbicher has grown into a 100 person firm that provides consulting services to more than 100 communities in Wisconsin. Vierbicher is an employee-owned corporation with shareholders, and a seven person Board of Directors that oversees the direction of the company.
Expertise
The staff of Vierbicher is comprised of engineers, landscape architects, planners, community development specialists, environmental scientists, surveyors, and GIS specialists. Historically, a majority of our work has been with municipalities; but we also provide a significant number of services to the private sector. This balance provides our clients with proven municipal experience and private sector insight vital to successful development.
Our staff has expertise with infrastructure and public works, water supply, wastewater, grants, Tax Incremental Financing, Community Development Authorities and planning and economic development including business recruitment and municipal GIS mapping.
