12 Mar Zellers Earns Certified Urban Designation

Madison, WI –Ben Zellers, AICP, CNU-A, has received his accreditation by the Congress for New Urbanism (CNU). He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Madison with a master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning as well as a bachelor’s degree in Geography from Miami University, Ohio. He has worked for Vierbicher since 2005. The CNU accreditation recognizes professionals that are qualified to influence the design of urban spaces by creating walkable, sustainable, and inviting built environment. Since 2005, Ben has gained experience in urban planning for municipalities throughout Wisconsin. He has worked on a variety of economic development and public planning processes, including neighborhood plans, comprehensive plans, Tax Increment Finance Districts, zoning code development and administration and developing urban design standards. Vierbicher is a planning and engineering consulting firm delivering successful development projects to public and private clients for over 35 years.
