Greenhaven Apartments & Townhomes is a newly completed, mixed-income residential community located in downtown Palatine, Illinois. The development features approximately 94,000 SF and a total of 58 dwelling units, including a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments and attached townhomes. Integrated underground and surface parking serve the project, which brings high-quality, affordable housing to a key village corridor adjacent to community assets. Greenhaven provides modern living with energy-efficient features and a range of resident amenities that support community connectivity and comfort.
A unique aspect of this project was its role as the first Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) family development in downtown Palatine in decades, offering affordable housing for working families who previously faced limited local options. The project team collaborated closely from early design through construction to align development goals with financial and regulatory requirements while maintaining high standards for livability and sustainability.
