Project Description

Sky Ridge Senior Apartments is a senior housing development located in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, designed to provide safe, accessible, and affordable housing for older adults in the community. The project includes three multi-family residential buildings with supporting site improvements, thoughtfully planned to meet local standards while creating a functional and comfortable living environment for residents.

A unique aspect of this project was the careful coordination required to address site constraints while maintaining accessibility, stormwater management, and efficient circulation throughout the property. Vierbicher worked closely with project partners, the City of Sun Prairie, and the Wisconsin DOT to extend approximately 1,750 feet of watermain, construct a bike path, add pavement width, and incorporate a new turn lane along State Highway 19 to serve this development and future adjacent developments.
Vierbicher provided Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, and Landscape Architecture services for the project. Our work included site analysis, survey and mapping, engineering design, and landscape planning to support permitting and construction. We are proud to collaborate with our partners in developing projects that provide much-needed housing and enhance thriving communities across Wisconsin.
