Project Description

The Sixteenth Street Community Health Centers (SSCHC) are embarking on a significant project that aims to enhance healthcare services and accessibility for residents in the area. SSCHC, known for their commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered health care, is expanding their existing clinic and organizational headquarters located at 1032 South Cesar E Chavez Drive. This $9 million project, set to open in the fall of 2024, will not only bring state-of-the-art healthcare facilities but also break down linguistic, cultural, and economic barriers to ensure comprehensive care for everyone.

To make room for this expansion, SSCHC has acquired the adjacent property at 1018 Caesar Chavez Drive and is in the process of demolishing the existing structure to create space for the new facility. The expansion includes a three-story, approximately 21,000-square-foot clinic that will be seamlessly connected to the existing clinic. This integrated healthcare model will allow community members to access a wide range of healthcare services under one roof, making it more convenient and efficient for individuals and families in the Milwaukee area. This exciting project represents a significant step forward in improving the overall health and well-being of the community.

Vierbicher is proud to support this vital community project and provide surveying, site and utility plans, and permitting for this project.
