Dawn Manor is a newly reimagined hospitality destination situated along the scenic shores of Mirror Lake in Lake Delton, Wisconsin. Inspired by the original 1855 mansion that once stood on the property, the resort blends historic character with modern amenities to create an immersive and memorable guest experience.
One of the project’s most unique aspects is the way it revives and reinterprets a historic estate while navigating the challenges of a sensitive lakefront environment. The site required thoughtful design solutions to support new structures while protecting the shoreline and maintaining the natural beauty of Mirror Lake. Coordinating the balance between historical inspiration, modern hospitality needs, and environmental stewardship required a highly collaborative approach among the design, construction, and ownership teams.
Vierbicher provided a comprehensive suite of services to help bring Dawn Manor to life, beginning with coordination efforts across local municipalities to support planning and approvals. Our team completed full site surveying, designed underground detention chambers for stormwater management, and delivered shoreline development and stabilization solutions to protect the lakefront. Additional services included designing a 35-foot-tall retaining wall to support the site’s unique topography and engineering a lift station to serve the new facilities. Working alongside Holtz Builders, Holtz Lime Gravel & Excavating, Steve Uphoff, ADCI, and Jacob Mast, we helped establish the technical foundation for a destination where history and modern hospitality come together.
