Dellshire Resort is a new 208-room lodging destination rising on the historic former site of Fort Dells in Wisconsin Dells. Featuring nine suites and an on-site family entertainment center, the resort is designed to enhance the area’s reputation as a premier family recreation hub.
A unique aspect of this project is its redevelopment of a legacy site with deep historical roots in the Dells community. Transforming the former Fort Dells property into a modern hospitality destination required careful consideration of existing conditions, legacy infrastructure, and the integration of new facilities within a high-profile tourist corridor. The project team worked collaboratively to balance the resort’s contemporary program with the character and constraints of the site, ensuring the new development honors the location while positioning it for renewed vitality.
Vierbicher provided comprehensive survey and stormwater management services to support the successful development of Dellshire Resort. Our team conducted detailed boundary, topographic, and construction surveys, delivering precise data to guide design and construction activities. In parallel, we designed a stormwater management system that meets regulatory requirements while accommodating the site’s redevelopment needs, ensuring long-term functionality and resilience. Working alongside Steve Uphoff, Kraemer Bros., RG Huston, ADCI, and Pyramid Management Group, we helped establish a strong foundation for this exciting new addition to Wisconsin Dells.
